The Awake NY x ASICS Gel-NYC Teal/Pink is a collaboration by Angelo Baques streetwear brand and the Japanese footwear company on a colorway of the retro-inspired sneaker with a head-turning look. Awake NYs spin on the Gel-NYC updates the shoe that combines elements of the ASICS Gel-Nimbus 3 with the ASICS Gel-Cumulus 16 with teal and pink accents for a bold appearance. The upper features a grey mesh base with tonal leather overlays throughout the design. Teal suede overlays are seen in various places on the shoe. Pink ASICS tiger stripes appear on both sides. A and Awake NY detailing can be found on the tongue and lateral heel, respectively. Underfoot, a pink and white midsole completes the look.
