The Awake NY x Asics Gel-Lyte 3 Black/Pink is one of three colorways of the retro running and lifestyle shoe by Angelo Baques streetwear brand and Asics in 2022. The Awake NY and Asics pairing has proven to be a formidable one over the years, as the two brands have released several covetable colorways of the Gel-Lyte 3 and other classic Asics models. The Black/Pink updates the shoe design with a black textile base. Contrasting pink suede overlays appear on the upper. Awake NYs version of the Gel-Lyte 3 retains the shoes original split tongue design. Branding details include an Awake NY stamp on the lateral side of the heel, and Asics Tiger Stripes appear on the mid-panel.
