The Ronnie Fieg x ASICS Gel-Lyte V Cove is a collaboration between the New York City based sneaker designer and ASICS from 2014. Adjoining the Mint Leaf colorway released alongside it, this Cove design also appeared on the Gel-Lyte 3 prior its transformation onto the Gel-Lyte 5. Like all of the collaborations between Fieg, Kith, and ASICS, the Cove is marked by its use of premium materials and attention to detail. The upper features a supple light blue dotted pigskin leather construction with perforations for constant airflow to the foot. The ASICS stripes found on the mid-panel displays contrasting white accenting that breaks up the monochromatic look. Tonal Gel-Lyte V detailing can be found on the tonal nubuck overlay between the mid-panel and collar. Additional branding appears in the form of embroidered ASICS detailing on the heel and tongue.
